      <image:title>Puppy Profiles - Dutch (Duo) Lacy</image:title>
<image:caption>Breed: Plot Hound Mix (unless you ask his vet, then he is an Arkansas Red Dog) Age: 8 (DOB 9/17) Life Stage: Adult Diet/Supplements: A-OK9 Calm and Plaque Job/Skill: Making Nona laugh/family clown Favorite Game: Frisbee Favorite Snack: Peanut Butter on his Licky Mat Motto: “Did someone say Peanut Butter?” Bio: This “little” guy of 80 pounds is a riot! We found him and his brother at a gas station on our way to Arizona one Christmas. They were little skeletons with skin. He came up to us first, but ran away when we put down food. We were pretty confused until he came running back with his brother. Long story…there was no room in the inn for these two sweeties, so to Arizona they went with us. His brother, Hunter, was adopted by my mom and dad and lives a ranch dog’s life (and a pretty spoiled one) in Arizona. Dutch came back to Arkansas, promised to a home that fell through. By then, we were attached. What a blessing. Now he is our little nutter! Our nutter that loves peanut butter. He makes us laugh every day with his shenanigans. He is big and beautiful and we love him.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Breed: Staffordshire Bull Age: 12 years Life Stage: Adult Diet/Supplements: A-OK9 Prime, Flexi, and Plaque Job/Skill: A good listener-the keeper of secrets Favorite Game: Tug, Middle Favorite Snack: Anything on the floor Motto: “Exercise? I thought you said extra fries” Bio: When we found Penny, she was a tiny little puppy (around 3 1/2 pounds) sitting in a ditch in an ice storm on Easter weekend. She was tiny! We thought she was a “chiweeny”. Then she grew, and fast. It became very clear that she was a bull mix. Everything you have heard about bull mixes…not true. Penny is a very sweet girl who wiggles with excitement when anyone talks to her. She is a camera shy beauty who loves to go on car rides and eat, well, just about anything. She is the official “hoover” of our house. She is always willing to sit and listen and I guarantee she will keep any secret that you tell her. She is our little Penny Palooza.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Neshama…A part of my soul</image:title>
<image:caption>Dogs have always been a part of my life. Not many memories have stayed with me from my childhood, but I remember every dog that I have had. Training my dogs has always been something that I just did. It was just a normal thing to do. Fast forward decades when Cadence came into my life (and just in time). She saved my life for the first time 10 years ago and countless times since. I was apprehensive when I started her training to be more than just a companion or family dog. A service dog is a much more complex training adventure! It was then that dog training became more than something I just did routinely (and I loved it). More than that, I developed this incredible relationship with Cadence. She became my friend, my partner, and has become a part of my soul (Neshama). What she has given me has been amazing and I owe a lot of what she has become to the people who helped me train her. I have come to know, as we have continued our partnership, that I want to be able to help others experience that same thing. So many people get a dog with hopes of that same kind of relationship. Others need a dog that can help them with medical needs and provide them with hope, freedom, support, and so much more. So, 5 years ago, I decided that is what I wanted to do. My goal is to help others help shape their dog into that dream dog. I want to be able to help owners find a better way to train, a way that fosters the dog-owner relationship. I want to help train dogs that are family dogs. I want to help train dogs that become service dogs. I want to help train dogs that are fantastic sport dogs. Whatever the goal is for each person and their dog, I want to help. At Between 2 Pines, I use concept training through games. Consults, plans, and classes are all focused on real-world results and are individualized for each dog. This training helps develop the characteristics in each dog that encourages them to make better choices, overcoming behavior characteristics that are not desirable. I hope that I have the opportunity to help you and your dog in your dog training journey! UPDATE: Cadence Marie passed away on September 22, 2024. Although my heart is broken, I feel she has transcended her physical body and taken her place among the stars. Shine on, beautiful girl.</image:caption>

This supplement, created by a vet and trainer, helps to bridge that gap and supports overall health and well-being including benefits to immunity, brain health, behavior, organs, muscles, joints, skin and coat.</image:caption>

<image:title>Testimonials - "We love the gracious approach to training, which allows for real life to happen…”</image:title>
<image:caption>“Our family loved having y’all out! I think this is going to be fun! So far, we are doing well on a couple of quick sessions here and there, with both dogs. ----- is enjoying the training so much that we have to prompt her to keep it short. Thank you for taking the time to explain the ‘why’ before jumping into the ‘how’. My crew thrives on that kind of interaction. We love the gracious approach to training, which allows for real life to happen without feeling guilt that we didn’t meet a time quota.” (photo by Daniel Denman)</image:caption>

      <image:title>Testimonials - “So encouraging!”</image:title>
<image:caption>“Hey! Just wanted to update you that I visited my parents this weekend and ----- did AMAZING! My mom even said that there was a different dog in her house from the last time she saw him in November. He never peed or pooped on the floor and did not destroy anything other than just running around with a wash rag in his mouth. LOL. We did a lot of training games with him and brought him his brain toys that kept him occupied. He also practiced going on his “spot” in a new place and did well with that. He wasn’t anxious except for when my dad would leave the room (oddly? But him and my dad are buds and love to play). He even fell asleep and/or just say on a mat on the floor while we ate dinner! Couldn’t believe how well behaved he was and how calm he was. So encouraging!!” (photo by Daniel Denman)</image:caption>
